Role Description This is a full-time Financial Advisor role based in Calgary, AB, structured as a hybrid position with a mix of in-office and work-from-home days.

The Financial

Advisor will meet with clients to assess their financial goals, analyze their current financial situation, and develop personalized plans covering investments, retirement, and overall financial strategy. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing financial projections, recommending appropriate financial products and services, monitoring portfolio performance, and adjusting strategies as needed. The role involves maintaining ongoing client relationships, responding to client inquiries, and ensuring all advice aligns with regulatory requirements and internal compliance standards.





The Financial

Advisor will also participate in business development activities such as networking, client referrals, and educational sessions to grow their client base.

Qualifications

- Strong Financial Planning and Retirement Planning skills, with the ability to create comprehensive, goal-based financial plans.
- Solid understanding of Finance and Investments, including risk management, asset allocation, and portfolio construction.
- Demonstrated experience in Financial Advisory, with a track record of building and maintaining long-term client relationships.
- Relevant post-secondary education in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; professional designations (e.g., CFP, PFP, CIM) are an asset.
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in explicit, accessible language.
- Comfort working in a hybrid environment, strong time management skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in the Canadian financial services industry.
- Proficiency with financial planning software, CRM tools, and standard office applications.
