Overview

We are seeking a safety-conscious Forklift Operator to support our daily yard movements. In this hands-on role, you’ll move, stage, and organize products while helping the team fulfill orders accurately and keep the plant running efficiently. Experience with a forklift, zoom boom, and rough terrain forklift is valuable; training may be provided based on experience.

Duties

- Operate forklifts, zoom boom, and rough terrain forklift to move, load, unload, and stage materials safely.
- Pick and prepare orders, verify items and quantities, and move completed orders to designated areas.
- Use a warehouse management system (WMS) to review tasks, record inventory movements, and update order status.
- Follow plant procedures for product handling, storage, and inventory organization.
- Inspect equipment before use, report maintenance or safety concerns, and keep work areas orderly.
- Coordinate with plant colleagues to support timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving materials, in accordance with safe-handling practices.

Requirements





- Prior experience in warehouse distribution or a similar material-handling environment is preferred.
- Ability to operate a forklift safely; experience with a clamp truck or order picker is a plus.
- Familiarity with order picking and warehouse management systems is preferred.
- Basic math skills to verify counts, quantities, and product information.
- Mechanical knowledge or the ability to identify basic equipment issues is an advantage.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and remain active throughout the shift, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to workplace safety.

Pay: $26.00-$28.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
