Avalon Children's Montessori School is seeking a part time French Teacher for the current school year commencing January 2027. We are a small, well established Montessori school located in the heart of the Beach. Our French teacher will be an active member of the faculty and will instruct students in Grades 1 - 8, approximately 15 hours per week.

We are looking for

- Caring, high-motivated, energetic, innovative and creative teacher
- Effective classroom management skills
- Fluent French language skills (oral and written)
- Ability to provide differentiated learning within multi - aged groupings
- Knowledge of the Ontario curriculum for Grades 4 - 8
- Someone comfortable working in non traditional or private school settings
- Someone with strong organizational skills.





Teaching experience is preferred but recent college/university graduates are encouraged to apply. Record keeping, student assessments and report card writing are also required. Hourly position, rate depends on candidate’s skills and experience, minimum $28/hr of instruction

Job Types: Part time, Permanent

Pay: $28.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 15.0 per week
