Overview

Hubbard Mechanical Inc. is a established fully unionized HVAC-Refrigeration company. We are looking to add a Furnace Installer/ Technician to our team. This position comes with the potential of growth and possibility of a refrigeration apprenticeship. We are seeking a dependable Furnace Installer/Technician to install, inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain furnaces and related heating equipment. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, takes safety seriously, and can work professionally in residential or commercial settings.

Experience with HVAC systems is valuable; related backgrounds in light sheet metal, construction, appliance repair, or mechanical maintenance are also welcome. Also must posses a G2 gas ticket.

Duties

- Install, replace, and connect furnaces and associated heating components according to job specifications and applicable safety requirements.
- Inspect equipment and diagnose mechanical or operational issues; complete repairs and routine maintenance as needed.
- Work with HVAC, and related systems, including associated piping, fittings, and controls.
- Read and interpret schematics, equipment manuals, and installation plans.
- Use hand and power tools safely; perform basic fabrication or welding tasks when required.




- Test completed installations, verify proper operation, and explain basic system use and maintenance to customers.
- Keep work areas organized and document work performed, equipment concerns, and materials used.
- Coordinate with customers and team members to complete work efficiently and professionally.

Requirements

- G2 Gas Ticket
- Practical mechanical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot equipment.
- HVAC installation, service, or maintenance experience preferred.
- Experience in one or more related areas—plumbing, boiler systems, welding, appliance repair, construction, or mechanic work—is an asset.
- Ability to read and follow schematics, technical instructions, and safety procedures.
- Comfortable using common tools and handling the physical demands of installation and service work.
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to safe, quality workmanship.
- Willingness to learn equipment-specific procedures and continue developing technical skills.

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
