Job Overview

- We are seeking a dependable, customer-focused Gas Station Attendant/Cashier to support daily station operations and provide friendly, efficient service.

- This role combines cashiering, retail sales, merchandising, and customer service. The attendant helps customers, processes transactions accurately, keeps the sales area organized, and promotes relevant products.

- Clear communication, a qualified approach, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment are important.

Duties

- Greet customers and assist with purchases, questions, and product selection.

- Operate the POS system and handle cash, card, and other transactions accurately.

- Use basic math to process payments, provide change, and verify transaction totals.

- Support retail sales by explaining product features, offering appropriate recommendations, and using upselling techniques when helpful.

- Demonstrate products and assist with product demos as needed.

- Apply sales skills to a range of merchandise, including products that may involve technology sales; prior technical sales experience is helpful.

- Restock shelves, maintain displays, and support merchandising to keep products visible and the store presentable.





- Keep the checkout area and customer spaces clean, orderly, and ready for service.

- Answer customer inquiries with professional phone etiquette and communicate clearly with customers and coworkers.

- Use time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and maintain smooth operations.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in cashiering, cash handling, retail sales, sales, or customer service is preferred.

- Comfortable learning and using a POS system and handling transactions accurately.

- Strong communication skills, a helpful attitude, and the ability to interact professionally with a variety of customers.

- Basic math skills and attention to detail.

- Reliable, organized, and able to manage time effectively while balancing customer service and store tasks.

- Proficiency in English is required to communicate with customers and coworkers.

- Interest or experience in product demonstrations, merchandising, technology sales, or technical sales is beneficial.

Pay: From $17.95 per hour

Expected hours: 27.0 – 40.0 per week
