Role

This role will focus on product development, energy efficiency, technical validation, and continuous improvement while working closely with multidisciplinary engineering and production teams.

Key Responsibilities Design and develop new HVAC heating and cooling products. Provide technical leadership throughout product development projects. Support product engineering activities across the organization.

Conduct feasibility studies, performance analysis, and technical validations. Ensure products meet applicable CSA, UL, AHRI, Energy Star, and other industry standards. Develop test protocols and support certification processes.

Evaluate and integrate new technologies and components into HVAC products. Collaborate with engineering, production, quality, marketing, and certification teams. Identify opportunities to improve product performance and development processes.





Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physical Engineering, Thermodynamics, or a related field. Active membership with the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ). 5-10 years of experience in manufactured product development. Previous experience with HVAC or heat pump product design.

Strong understanding of CSA, UL, AHRI, Energy Star, and certification requirements. Proven technical leadership and team collaboration skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities.

Comfortable working in a multidisciplinary environment.
