Oretta FRONT ST W is looking for an experienced Host to join our team! The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years experience in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant with excellent customer service skills, passion for hospitality, and experience in a team-oriented environment. Previous experience working in casual fine dining with Italian food and beverage knowledge is considered an asset.

About You

We are looking for a Part-Time and Full-Time Host to join our Front of House team. The ideal candidate has experience in customer service, enjoys working in a fast-paced setting, can multi-task and bring a positive energy to the floor. As a member of the Host team, you are the first person that guests interact with when they walk through the door.

MUST be available evenings and weekends- Friday PM, Saturday open availability (morning or evening shift), Sunday open availability (morning or evening shift), plus 1-3 shifts during the week.

Delivering a warm greeting and excellent customer service is imperative to the role, whether it’s in person, over the phone, or by email response. We are looking for a reliable and organized individual that can take on several daily tasks,



including helping on the floor clearing and resetting tables and communicating with the team if there are reservation-related details.

Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced dining establishment with guest interaction is an asset!

- Available for 3-5 shifts a week, mostly evenings (as early as 3pm) and weekends.
- Smart Serve Certification is required
- We are prioritizing those with experience with OpenTable experience
- TripleSeat experience is a strong asset
- Good understanding of English language is required, knowing Italian is also an asset!
- Arriving to work looking your best version of yourself!

Greeting guests with a smile and an outgoing personality

- Reporting to the Manager on duty
- Assisting with Opening or Closing of the Host desk
- Extensive knowledge of OpenTable
- Preparing tables for reservations and walk-ins, seating guests promptly and in server rotation
- Following daily Host checklists, including beautifications, shift cleanliness and washroom checks
- Organizing reservations, answering phone calls, voicemails, and email inquiries promptly
- Ensuring every guest is warmly greeted and given a friendly farewell
- Working as a part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Bringing a positive attitude and professional work ethic to the floor
- Tripleseat experience an asset
- Adhering to Oretta Employee handbook

We offer minimum wage plus a weekly tipout for all support staff. Management will reach out to candidates of interest via email address.

Pay: From $17.95 per hour
