Job Overview The Junior Foreman supports day-to-day construction site operations, helping coordinate crews, materials, schedules, and work quality. This role works closely with the Foreman and project team to keep work progressing safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project plans and specifications. The ideal candidate is organized, communicates clearly, and is eager to develop construction leadership skills.

Duties

- Assist the Site Super with coordinating daily work activities, assigning tasks, and monitoring progress.
- Help supervise field crews and subcontractors, providing clear direction and escalating issues as needed.
- Review project plans, blueprints, and schematics to understand work requirements and identify potential conflicts.
- Support quality control by checking completed work against project specifications and reporting deficiencies.
- Help track labor, materials, equipment, and schedule progress; communicate delays or resource needs to the project team.
- Support budgeting and cost awareness by tracking material usage, labor hours, and potential changes in scope.
- Promote protected work practices, maintain an orderly jobsite,



and report hazards or incidents promptly.
- Participate in site meetings and communicate project updates to the Site Super, project managers, and field teams.

Qualifications

- Construction experience in a field or project-support role; experience on active jobsites is preferred.
- Intermediate first aid
- Some supervising experience or demonstrated ability to guide and coordinate a crew is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
- Understanding of quality control practices, construction estimating, and basic budgeting principles.
- Strong organization, communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with field crews and project staff while adapting to changing jobsite priorities.
- Commitment to following jobsite safety procedures and project requirements.

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
