We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Labourer to support day-to-day operations at our worksite. The successful candidate will assist with general manual tasks, keep work areas organized, and help the team complete projects efficiently. This role may involve working outdoors and in changing weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, move, and organize materials, tools, and equipment.
- Assist skilled workers and other team members with assigned tasks.
- Prepare and maintain work areas, including clearing debris and keeping walkways unobstructed.
- Use hand tools and basic equipment safely, following instructions and site procedures.
- Follow workplace health and safety requirements, and promptly report hazards or damaged equipment.
- Perform routine cleanup and other general labour duties as needed.
- Work cooperatively with the team and complete tasks with care and attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical work, including standing, bending, and lifting materials as required.
- Dependable, punctual, and willing to follow directions.
- Commitment to secure work practices and maintaining an orderly work area.
- Ability to work independently when assigned and collaborate effectively with others.
- Previous labour, construction, warehouse, or similar experience is an asset but not required.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing tasks and worksite needs.
Pay: $17.60-$29.36 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 – 60.0 per week
