Job Overview

- Operate and monitor laser engraving equipment to produce accurate, high-quality markings on Awards and other products.

- Prepare jobs by reviewing work orders, drawings, and specifications; select appropriate machine settings.

- Work in a manufacturing environment, following safety procedures and production schedules.

- Training on specific equipment and processes may be provided.

Duties

- Set up, operate, and monitor laser engraving machines, making adjustments as needed to meet job specifications.

- Read work orders to confirm dimensions, engraving locations, and production requirements.

- Perform basic machine troubleshooting and routine cleaning; report maintenance or equipment issues.

- Handle materials and finished products, including packaging, labeling, and preparing items for shipment or assembly.

- Use hand tools and assist with machining, manufacturing, and assembly tasks as needed.





- Maintain accurate production and quality-control records and keep the work area organized.

- Follow established safety procedures when operating machinery or using material-handling equipment.

Skills

- Required: attention to detail, basic math, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to follow written instructions and safety procedures.

- Preferred: experience with CO2 laser engraving machines.

- Additional helpful experience: manufacturing, machining, quality control, packaging, assembly, hand tools, or warehouse work.

- Ability to inspect finished work, identify defects, and communicate production or equipment concerns clearly.

- Knowledge of Graphic Design Software, esp.

Pay: $18.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
