Are you a certified teacher with a passion for student success? Do you have a talent for making complex math and physics concepts simple, clear and engaging?

We’re looking for dynamic, dedicated certified tutors to join our team in the Calgary area.

This is a hybrid role: most sessions are online, with occasional in-person sessions in Calgary.

In this role, you’ll help high school students build their skills, confidence and independence through personalized math and physics support aligned with your provincial curriculum.

Responsibilities

- Deliver one-on-one or small-group tutoring sessions in high school math and physics
- Tailor sessions to each student’s level, learning pace and specific needs
- Assess students’ knowledge to identify strengths, gaps and concepts to review
- Support students with homework, tests, assignments and exam preparation
- Explain difficult concepts clearly using practical examples, visual tools and digital resources
- Track student progress and provide constructive feedback when needed
- Maintain a positive,



patient and motivating learning environment
- Communicate with parents as needed to support student success

Requirements

- Alberta Teaching Certificate
- Proven experience teaching or tutoring high school students
- Solid command of high school math and physics
- Good knowledge of your provincial math and science curriculum
- Ability to explain complex ideas simply, clearly and patiently
- Comfortable with basic computer tools and online teaching
- Available for occasional in-person sessions in the Calgary area
- Experience working with students with special learning needs is an asset

Expected hours: 10.0 per week
