Overview

We are hiring a versatile Construction and Carpentry Employee to support residential and cabinetry projects. The role may involve new construction, repairs, remodeling, restoration, and shop or manufacturing work. Candidates with a range of hands-on skills are encouraged to apply; experience across every listed trade is not required.

Duties

- Perform general carpentry, woodworking, assembly, and handyman tasks.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and project plans to understand measurements and work requirements.
- Assist with concrete forming and rebar installation, as well as masonry work.
- Install drywall, cabinets, flooring, tile, siding, and roofing materials.
- Support construction painting, caulking, and restoration work.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to complete construction and repair tasks.
- Assist with basic plumbing and electrical work within the scope of training and authorization.
- Support CNC equipment or manufacturing and fabrication tasks when needed.
- Pick up and deliver materials
- Maintain an organized work area and follow job-site safety procedures.




- Lift and move materials as needed, including performing heavy lifting.

Requirements

- Construction experience, with carpentry or woodworking an asset
- Must have valid license and transportation.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools and safe work practices.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and measurements, or willingness to develop these skills.
- Experience in one or more areas such as concrete forming, drywall, restoration, cabinet installation, painting, CNC, masonry, flooring installation, tile laying, rebar installation, manufacturing, roofing, caulking, siding, assembly, plumbing, or electrical work is an asset.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, bending, and heavy lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work cooperatively with a project team.

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
