Exciting new Community based opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to support clients throughout the North Okanagan region. This position is a term specific (temporary) full-time prospect in the Connected Care at Home Pilot program expected to run until March 31, 2028

. This position supports clients in Vernon including the Westside Road area, Armstrong, Enderby and Cherryville. A current valid B.C. drivers license and access to a reliable and appropriately insured personal vehicle is a requirement of this role.

Days of Work: Monday to Friday

Shift times/Hours of work: 08:00 to 16:00

About The Role The Occupational Therapist works independently and as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary rehabilitation team, and may be providing a full range of occupational therapy services across inpatient, outpatient, residential, and community settings.

- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.




- Implement therapy programs to promote functional independence and optimal health outcomes.
- Provide consultation, education, and support to clients and their caregivers.
- Prescribe and recommend appropriate equipment to enhance daily living.
- Participate in program planning, quality assurance initiatives, research, and departmental meetings.
- Offer guidance and work direction to rehabilitation assistants regarding transfer of function.
