Midland Transport is currently seeking professional Class 1 P&D; Owner Operator based in Kentville, NS.
In this role, you will operate a tractor‑trailer to complete scheduled local routes, ensuring timely, accurate, and skilled service to our customers.
Schedule: Monday to Friday (10:00 - 20:00)

- Fuel purchased at authorized by the Company fuel stops will be charged to the Owner Operator at a rate of $0.408.

- Deliver freight to assigned locations ensuring timely delivery
- Offload variable shipment weight and handle freight equipment properly and in a safe manner to avoid any damage
- Communicate efficiently with dispatch and customers
- Operate the tractor trailer in accordance with the safety regulation:
company rules while following safety procedures and traffic laws
- Perform pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the truck operation
- Report any incident, accident, injury or damage in a timely manner
- Must have a reliable Tractor Truck no older than eight years
- Education Required: High School or GED
- AZ driver’s license with a minimum of 3 years of safe tractor trailer driving experience required
- Clean driver’s abstract and criminal search
- Excellent communication skills, work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. using the proper equipment.
- Safety conscious.
- Must have flexibility to work various shifts: Days, Evenings, Nights, Weekends.
