Job Summary

- Prepare components and materials for painting

- Masking of product to e painted

- Sanding if needed too

- Wiping and cleaning material prior to painting

- Inspecting painted product, exposed to some chemicals

- Support window production in a manufacturing environment.

- Follow work instructions and safety procedures to help ensure products meet quality standards and production schedules.

- This is a hands-on role involving equipment, tools, material handling, and repetitive tasks. Training may be provided for job-specific processes.

Responsibilities

- Prepare windows and doors components and other parts for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and organizing materials as needed.

- Assist with assembling window products and moving components through production stages.

- Use hand tools and power tools to complete preparation, assembly, and finishing tasks.

- Operate or assist with production equipment in accordance with training and safety procedures.

- Move materials using appropriate equipment; support crane or forklift operations when trained and authorized.

- Inspect parts and finished work for defects, proper fit, and adherence to specifications.

- Keep work areas, tools,



and equipment clean and organized.

- Follow production instructions, quality requirements, and lean manufacturing practices.

- Communicate equipment issues, material shortages, or safety concerns to a supervisor.

- Perform related production duties as assigned.

Skills

- Manufacturing or production experience is helpful;

experience with window production, assembly, or machining is a plus.

- Mechanical knowledge and comfort working with tools and equipment.

- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.

- Basic math skills for measurements, counts, and production instructions.

- Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and workplace organization.

- Crane or forklift experience is beneficial; required equipment operation must be performed only with appropriate training and authorization.

- Welding experience is a plus, but not required.

- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, maintain attention to detail, and work safely as part of a team.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
