About the Position

Richmond Dental Clinic is looking for a friendly, organized, and reliable Part-Time Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, enjoy working with patients, and contribute to a welcoming and professional dental office environment.

Knowledge of Persian/Farsi is a strong asset, as is familiarity with Maxident dental practice management software. Previous dental office experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet patients warmly and manage front-desk operations.
- Answer phone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and schedule appointments.
- Confirm appointments, manage cancellations, and contact patients for recalls and follow-ups.
- Verify dental insurance coverage and assist with insurance-related inquiries.
- Process patient payments and maintain accurate patient records.
- Communicate professionally with patients and coordinate with dentists, dental assistants, and other team members.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure the reception area remains organized.

Qualifications




- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Knowledge of Persian/Farsi is a strong asset.
- Experience with Maxident dental software is an asset.
- Previous dental reception or dental office experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with dental insurance, treatment estimates, and appointment scheduling is an advantage.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and customer service skills.
- Professional, friendly, punctual, and dependable.
- Comfortable using computers, email, and office software.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy dental practice.
