Job Summary The Parts Person / Service Writer, under the direction of the Shop Manager, will primarily be responsible to order and maintain parts room inventory, complete data entry to maintain parts inventory in database, maintain organization of parts room, source and obtain price quotes for parts, create purchase orders for approval prior to ordering parts and supplies and assist with creating and closing work orders for units.

Job Duties

- Inspect and verify shipped goods for both incoming and outgoing items prior tosigning off; reject damaged goods
- Resolve any cases of missing documentation, shipments, or deliveries
- Accurately and appropriately file correspondence, invoices, and receipts
- Adhere to established safe working procedures and wear the proper safetyequipment at all times
- Compile, verify, record, and process documentation
- Receive and process warehouse stock products
- Report any discrepancies in inventory to management
- Manually load and unload materials from boxes, pallets and skids
- Tag, mark, or label stock items and ensure they are placed in correct storage location
- Occasional parts pickup with company vehicle
- Assist with preparing unit work orders as needed





Job Requirements

- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing

- Familiarity with computers, software and electronic parts inventory
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, including Outlook & Excel
- Class 5 drivers license with reliable vehicle for travel to work

- High level of integrity and work ethic

Work Conditions

- Operation and use of necessary tools, machinery, or equipment
- Occasional lifting, moving, or manipulating objects up to 50 lbs.

Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
