Job Overview

- We are seeking a dependable Permanent Part time Dietary Aide to support daily meal service in a care setting. This role helps ensure residents receive meals that are prepared, served, and handled safely and with care.

- The position is part-time and ongoing. Training on workplace procedures and food safety practices will be provided.

Responsibilities

- Assist with food preparation and meal preparation, including basic cooking tasks as assigned.

- Serve meals and beverages promptly and courteously, following residents’ dietary instructions and established service procedures.

- Provide friendly customer service to residents, visitors, and team members.

- Follow food-handling, food-safety, and sanitation procedures, including proper storage and temperature practices.

- Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, dining spaces, utensils, and equipment.

- Keep work areas organized and stocked,



and communicate supply or equipment needs to the appropriate team member.

- Coordinate tasks and meal service efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and time management.

Experience

- Previous food service, food industry, or kitchen experience is helpful;

experience with serving, cooking, or food handling is a plus.

- Experience in assisted living, a nursing home, or a hospital is preferred but not required.

- Familiarity with food safety, cleaning, and sanitation practices is beneficial.

- Applicants should be reliable, organized, courteous, and comfortable working as part of a team in a care-focused environment.

Pay: $17.95-$19.95 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 30.0 per week
