Overview

We are seeking a compassionate, skilled Physiotherapist to assess patients’ movement and functional abilities and provide individualized treatment. The role involves working with patients across a range of needs, potentially including acute care and pediatrics. Hospital experience is valued.

Responsibilities

- Assess patients’ mobility, strength, balance, pain, and functional limitations.
- Develop and adapt treatment plans based on each patient’s goals, condition, and progress.
- Provide therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and other appropriate physiotherapy interventions.
- Support safe transfers, positioning, and movement, particularly in acute care settings.
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, recovery strategies, and safe movement.
- Document assessments, treatment plans, and progress accurately using appropriate medical terminology.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses,



and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Follow clinical, safety, and infection-prevention procedures.

Requirements

- Degree or equivalent qualification in Physiotherapy and current authorization to practice in the applicable jurisdiction.
- Experience providing direct patient care; hospital experience is preferred.
- Acute care experience is an asset.
- Experience or interest in pediatrics is welcome.
- Strong assessment, communication, organization, and clinical documentation skills.
- Working knowledge of medical terminology and the ability to explain care plans clearly to patients and caregivers.
- Commitment to respectful, secure, and patient-centered care.

Pay: $25.99-$55.99 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
