Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Plumbing and Drainage Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing plumbing and drainage systems across various construction projects. Your expertise will ensure that systems are efficient, compliant with regulations, and seamlessly integrated into overall project designs.

Duties

- Develop comprehensive plumbing and drainage system designs using AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and CAD drafting tools.
- Collaborate with project managers, civil engineers, and construction teams to create schematics and system layouts that meet project specifications.
- Conduct construction estimating to accurately forecast costs related to plumbing and drainage components.
- Perform construction inspection duties to ensure systems are installed according to design plans, codes, and safety standards.
- Utilize GIS, ArcGIS, and HEC software for spatial analysis, system modeling, and hydraulic calculations to optimize drainage solutions.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation using Bluebeam for plan review, markups, and project communication.




- Manage project timelines and resources through effective project management practices, ensuring timely delivery of design milestones.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related field with a focus on plumbing or drainage systems.
- Proven experience in construction projects involving plumbing and drainage system design and installation.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, System Design software (such as Mathcad), and HEC programs for hydraulic analysis.
- Familiarity with GIS tools like ArcGIS for spatial data management and analysis.
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating techniques specific to plumbing infrastructure.
- Experience with construction inspection processes to verify compliance with design specifications.
- Ability to interpret schematics, technical drawings, and CAD models accurately.
- Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and best practices in civil and mechanical engineering related to plumbing systems.
