Responsibilities mainly include, but are not limited to:
- Routine inspection of production and facility equipment and systems for potential issues, and perform general repairs and preventative/scheduled maintenance as needed.
- Perform production runs and duties per procedures under full compliance with GMP.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with hand-on experience to perform repairs independently or with 3rd-party contractor.
- Can work under pressure to respond to emergent equipment breakdowns, while skilled in addressing maintenance requests and prioritizing emergencies.
- Work with production team on production scheduling and maintenance scheduling to maximize and ensure safety/quality compliance and meet efficiency targets.
- Assist in calibration, maintenance, validation, and cleaning of all production equipment.
- Monitor and report quality issues and machine failures, lead or assist in resolution.
- Document accurately and completely all procedures carried out on Control Forms as events occur.
- Assist in improving and revision of production documents as needed.
- Keep abreast of training and new developments by attending all training sessions as provided.
- Participate in production and process improvements under the guidance of a supervisor.
- Assist during company events as and when required by the organization.
Education and experience:
- University degree or college diploma in Mechanical, Chemical or similar discipline, or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years hand-on experience on using hand and power tools for equipment repairs and general maintenance.
- Welding experience is a bonus.

- Good written and verbal communication skills with a strong work ethic.
- Strong sense of work safety and able to work in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing safety.
- Detail-oriented in understanding standard procedures and follow through to task completion.
- Physical capability including but not limited to performing repetitive work.
- Capable of working within a team and independently.
