Responsible for initiatives related to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process and product rollout into production, making recommendations of solutions and improvements.

Responsibilities may also include software quality assurance testing. Conducts complex process monitoring, product evaluation and audit assignments; Ensures project standards and procedures exist, are fully / clearly documented and followed throughout the software development life cycle; identifies risks and recommends solutions; Documents findings and performs root cause analyses to provide recommended improvements. collaborates with other areas in technology to develop new standards and procedures. Verifies traceability in project work products.

Gathers, maintains and creates reports on quality metrics. Exhibits sound understanding of concepts and principles in own technical area and a basic knowledge of these elements in other areas. Requires in-depth understanding of how own area integrates within IT Quality and has basic commercial awareness.

Automation

Architecture:Build, design, and contribute to the development of sophisticated, scalable,



and maintainable test automation frameworks using Java, Python, and BDD tools like Cucumber.

Strategic Leadership: Define and execute a comprehensive automation strategy that aligns with business goals and technology roadmaps. Drive the adoption of best practices in code quality, testing, and maintainability.

Agile Practice: Champion and implement Agile methodologies to drive efficiency, collaboration, and rapid feedback within the quality engineering process.

CI/CD and DevOps: Champion the integration of quality engineering into the CI/CD pipeline. Enhance and optimize the pipeline for continuous testing and delivery in a containerized environment (Docker, Openshift).

Leverage

Docker and container orchestration platforms like Openshift to build and manage robust, isolated, and scalable testing environments.

Platform and System Testing: Oversee the quality assurance for critical trading systems, including the Lightspeed platform, ensuring functionality, performance, and resilience. Partner with development, DevOps, and business teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the entire software development lifecycle.

Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest industry trends in test automation and financial technology. Evaluate and integrate AI-powered development tools to enhance productivity and test effectiveness. 5-8 years experience in an IT Quality role. ~ Development experience in a fast-paced, time-to-market driven environment Experience with test automation,



test scenario and test scripts creation and modification Comfortable with writing complex queries Experience with reporting tools. Hands on experience with testing automation tools. ~ Project management experience preferred. ~ Extensive experience in a senior software or automation engineering role, with a proven track record of leadership and strategic impact. ~ Expert-level proficiency in Java and Python. ~ Solid expertise in container technologies (Docker) and container orchestration platforms (Openshift). ~ Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Experience in the financial services industry, with exposure to trading systems. ~ Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to architect solutions for complex technical challenges.

Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience.
