Overview

We are seeking a friendly, organized Receptionist to provide a welcoming first point of contact for visitors and callers. This role supports daily office operations through front desk coverage, customer service, clerical tasks, and accurate recordkeeping. The ideal candidate communicates professionally, handles multiple priorities with care, and is comfortable using common office software.

Responsibilities

- Welcome visitors, determine how to assist them, and direct them to the appropriate person or department.
- Answer and route calls using a multi-line phone system, take clear messages, and maintain professional phone etiquette.
- Respond to customer questions and provide courteous customer support in person and through office communication channels.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate digital and paper records.
- Handle filing, document preparation, proofreading, and other clerical and administrative tasks.
- Use Microsoft Office and Google Workspace for correspondence, calendars, spreadsheets, and document management.




- Assist with bookkeeping tasks and QuickBooks, as needed.
- Keep the reception area organized and help ensure smooth day-to-day office operations.

Experience

- Previous office experience, including front desk, clerical, or administrative experience, is preferred.
- Demonstrated customer service skills and professional phone etiquette.
- Strong computer skills, typing accuracy, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, data entry, filing, and proofreading.
- Experience with QuickBooks or bookkeeping is a plus.
- Medical office experience, dental office experience, or prior work as a dental receptionist is helpful but not required.

Pay: $18.25 per hour Expected hours: 12.0 – 24.0 per week
