Red Seal Service Electrician

Power Pros Electrical is looking for an experienced Red Seal Journeyperson Electrician to join our Service team.

This role is ideal for a skilled service electrician who thrives on troubleshooting, enjoys working independently, and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service. We're looking for someone who can confidently diagnose electrical issues, communicate solutions to customers, and manage service calls with professionalism and efficiency.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Service Electrician, you will work independently on commercial service calls across the Lower Mainland.

Responsibilities Include

- Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical issues
- Installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and specifications
- Working on distribution systems, lighting controls, fire alarm systems, and other electrical infrastructure
- Communicating professionally with customers and providing solutions-oriented service
- Preparing accurate service documentation and material records
- Managing your schedule and service calls effectively
- Maintaining Power Pros' safety and quality standards
- Participating in a rotational evening and weekend on-call schedule

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

- Red Seal Construction Electrician Certification
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities




- Previous experience working in a service environment
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Experience operating a service van
- Commercial service experience
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Commitment to safe, high-quality workmanship
- Comfortable using technology for work orders, communication, and documentation

Assets

- FSR-B Certification
- Experience with lighting controls, fire alarms, and distribution systems

The Details This is a permanent, full-time position, typically 40 hours per week, with overtime opportunities available.

Our service area extends from Chilliwack to North Vancouver, with most work located throughout the Greater Vancouver area.
