As we expand our services to include massage therapy, we're looking for a skilled and motivated Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) to join our team as our founding massage therapist.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing clinic, work alongside our chiropractic team, and play an important role in introducing massage therapy as an integral part of our services. With opportunities for internal referrals from our existing chiropractic patient base, you'll be joining a clinic that values collaboration, patient satisfaction, and high standards of care.

What We Offer

Competitive Compensation

- Earn $55 per hands-on treatment hour, based on a 50% split of our standard $110 hourly treatment rate.
- Compensation will be administered in accordance with applicable Alberta employment standards, including minimum-wage requirements.

Employee Support

- Part-time employee status, with payroll administration and applicable statutory deductions and employer contributions handled by the clinic.
- No responsibility for treatment-room equipment, laundry, or routine clinic operating expenses.

Our goal is to provide the equipment, resources, and professional environment you need to focus on delivering excellent patient care while we take care of the operational details. Schedule & Hours
- Position: Part-time employee.
- Schedule: Two shifts per week, four hours per shift.
- Total: Eight scheduled hours per week.

Specific days and shift times will be discussed and mutually agreed upon during the interview process. Additional hours may become available as the massage therapy service grows and patient demand develops.

Qualifications

We're looking for an RMT who is passionate about patient care, values teamwork, and takes pride in providing a high standard of treatment and professionalism.

Requirements:

- Active membership in good standing with a recognized massage therapy association accepted by the clinic's insurance billing providers.




- Completion of a recognized massage therapy education program of at least 2,200 hours, meeting the requirements of the applicable professional association and insurance providers.
- Current professional liability insurance appropriate to the services provided.
- Eligibility to provide receipts and participate in direct billing with the applicable insurers supported by the clinic.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent clinical documentation and charting habits.
- A patient-centered approach and commitment to professional standards.

Assets:

- Experience working alongside chiropractors or other healthcare professionals.
- Familiarity with JaneApp or similar electronic health record systems.
- An interest in musculoskeletal health, injury rehabilitation, and collaborative treatment planning.
