Northern Himalayan Café is seeking a motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our daily operations and support our growing Himalayan food business. We are looking for someone with strong restaurant operations, team leadership, customer service, food safety, and inventory management experience.

This position is well matched to a hospitality professional with a background in restaurant management, shift supervision, food preparation, staff training, inventory control, and daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

*Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate restaurant operations and establish operational procedures

*Recruit, train, schedule and supervise front-of-house and kitchen staff, assign duties and monitor performance to maintain efficient service and consistent standards

*Maintain high standards of customer service, food quality, cleanliness and overall guest experience.

*Respond to customer concerns and resolve service issues professionally and promptly

*Monitor inventory levels, coordinate purchasing and negotiate with suppliers for food and other supplies to maintain adequate stock

*Manage cash handling, point-of-sale procedures,



daily closing and sales reporting, and maintain accurate operating records

*Monitor and control labour, food and other operating costs; review sales and operating performance and recommend improvements

*Ensure compliance with applicable food-safety, sanitation, workplace-safety and restaurant operating requirements

*Coordinate reservations, takeout orders, catering, special events and other customer-service activities

*Work with ownership to improve sales, service quality, operational efficiency, staffing and overall restaurant performance The successful candidate should be a reliable, organized leader who can work with a diverse team and help Northern Himalayan Café deliver excellent food and hospitality to our community.
