Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly, dependable Retail Cashier to provide excellent service and support daily store operations. This customer-facing role involves processing purchases accurately, answering product questions, and helping maintain an organized, appealing sales floor. Applicants with retail sales, technology sales, or technical sales experience are welcome.

Duties

- Greet customers, answer questions, and provide attentive customer service throughout the shopping experience.

- Process purchases, returns, and exchanges using the point-of-sale (POS) system.

- Handle cash, card, and other transactions accurately; provide receipts and balance transactions according to store procedures.

- Use basic math to verify totals, make change, and resolve routine transaction discrepancies.

- Learn product features and assist customers with product selection, including technology products when applicable.

- Demonstrate products and explain their features clearly to help customers make informed decisions.

- Support sales through helpful recommendations and appropriate upselling.

- Restock merchandise, maintain displays, and assist with merchandising to keep the sales floor clean and well organized.





- Respond to customer inquiries in person and follow professional phone etiquette when handling calls.

- Coordinate with coworkers and supervisors to support smooth store operations and a positive customer experience.

Skills

- Solid customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Accuracy with cashiering, cash handling, POS systems, and basic math.

- Retail sales experience; technology sales or technical sales experience is a plus.

- Confidence presenting products and conducting product demos.

- Ability to make relevant recommendations and use upselling techniques without pressuring customers.

- Good time management and organizational skills, with attention to detail.

- Professional phone etiquette and a courteous, helpful approach.

- English proficiency required for customer and team communication; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.

Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
