Job Summary

- The Room Attendant helps create a clean, comfortable, and welcoming experience for hotel guests by maintaining guest rooms and assigned areas to established cleanliness and service standards.
- This hands-on role is suited to someone who takes pride in detailed cleaning, works reliably, and treats guests and coworkers with courtesy.

- Hotel experience is helpful but not required. Training on property procedures and cleaning standards can be provided.

Duties

- Clean and prepare guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning bathrooms.

- Replenish towels, toiletries, and other room supplies; report shortages as needed.
- Inspect rooms for cleanliness, maintenance concerns, and items left behind, and promptly report findings to the appropriate team.
- Follow protected procedures when using cleaning products, equipment, and supplies.

- Maintain cleanliness in assigned hallways, service areas, and other designated spaces.




- Respond courteously to guest requests and communicate service needs to the appropriate staff.
- Keep carts and work areas organized, and complete assigned tasks within expected timeframes.

- Follow hotel policies for guest privacy, safety, and handling lost property.

Skills

- Ability to perform detailed cleaning and maintain consistent standards.

- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
- Dependable, courteous, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform routine physical tasks throughout a shift.

- Hotel experience, hospitality, industrial cleaning, or custodial experience is a plus.
- Willingness to learn property procedures and follow instructions for safe use of cleaning supplies and equipment.

Pay: $21.00-$21.70 per hour Expected hours: 16.0 – 40.0 per week
