Job Summary

We are a manufacturing company looking for a sales representative to generate recent business through outbound calls and in-person customer visits across North America. This position focuses primarily on sales, with some basic marketing responsibilities.

Responsibilities

- Make outbound calls to introduce our manufactured products and generate sales.
- Identify and contact potential customers, including trucking companies, dealerships and distributors.
- Visit new and existing customers to present products and build business relationships.
- Prepare quotes, follow up on leads and close sales.
- Maintain relationships with existing customers and encourage repeat business.
- Develop a strong understanding of our products, pricing, and available options.
- Keep accurate records of customer contacts, quotes, orders and follow ups.
- Coordinate with management and production team on order timelines.
- Report to manager and provide regular updates on sales activity, customer leads and results.




- Assist with social media posts, product photos, and promotional opportunities.
- Participate in occasion out of town travel for customer visits and sales opportunities.

Requirements

- Confident making cold calls and approaching potential customers.
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship building skills.
- Self motivated, organized and comfortable working independently.
- Willing and able to travel for customer visits, including occasional out-of-town trips.
- Valid drivers licence.
- Previous sales experience is an asset, especially in trucking, automotive or manufacturing.
- Familiar with Microsoft 365.
- Willingness to learn our products; training will be provided.

Salary $45,000.00 to $55,000.00 - Travel expense not included but will be provided. Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
