Role Description As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Accion Labs, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure for complex software systems. In this remote contract role, you will build and manage CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments using Infrastructure as Code, and optimize system performance and reliability across cloud and on-premises environments.

You will collaborate closely with software development teams to streamline releases, improve observability, and enforce best practices in configuration management, security,



and compliance. Daily activities include monitoring production environments, troubleshooting issues, implementing system improvements, and contributing to documentation and operational standards. You will also participate in architectural discussions, recommend tooling and processes, and support continuous improvement of DevOps practices across projects.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Infrastructure as Code (IaC) skills, including experience with tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar frameworks.
- Candidates should possess solid Software Development and Continuous Integration experience, including scripting/programming and building/maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
- Candidates should possess robust System Administration and Linux expertise, including managing servers, networking basics, security hardening, and performance tuning.
- Candidates should possess practical knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization/orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Candidates should possess strong troubleshooting skills, experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK), and familiarity with incident management practices.
- Relevant experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering, typically 8+ years in similar roles, with a track record of supporting production systems at scale.
