The Diagnostic

Clerk supports timely, accurate, quality service for clients at Altona Community Memorial Health Centre. Reporting to the Charge Technologist or Diagnostic Support Supervisor, this non-clinical position uses Windows programs, office equipment, and diagnostic service information. The work includes communication with the public, independent tasks, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Perform functions supporting the Diagnostic Services Department Provide timely, accurate, quality services to clients Use computers, fax machines, and copiers Communicate with clients and the public Work with minimal supervision and frequent interruptions Hospital or medical clinic experience preferred Knowledge of medical terminology Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet knowledge Bring diagnostic information, communication, organization, and office technology skills to Shared Health’s Altona laboratory team. #
