Sheet Metal Fabricator and Assembler

We are seeking a detail-oriented Sheet Metal Fabricator and Assembler to support aerospace manufacturing. In this hands-on role, you will fabricate and assemble sheet metal components to accurate specifications, using specialized equipment and following established quality and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
- Measure, mark, cut, form, and shape sheet metal using hand tools and shop equipment.
- Operate press brakes, CNC routers, shrinkers, stretchers, and other sheet metal fabrication equipment.
- Assemble components according to drawings and specifications.
- Handle and move materials safely throughout the fabrication and assembly process.
- Use calipers and other precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Inspect components, identify defects or inconsistencies, and document results as required.
- Follow shop safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.





Qualifications
- Experience in sheet metal fabrication, assembly, machining, or manufacturing; aerospace experience is an asset.
- Familiarity with CNC equipment and processes, including CNC routers and waterjet cutting equipment.
- Experience operating press brakes and manual sheet metal fabrication tools.
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
- Proficiency with hand tools, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments.
- Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to follow technical instructions and work safely.

Pay: $36.00-$45.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 – 60.0 per week
