We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Shift Foreman to oversee our labourers and perform labourer duties as required. DZ licence beneficial but not necessary - possibility for us to train in future. This position is to join our team in BATH, ON. Wage will depend on experienc.
This is an AFTERNOON position. 3pm - 11:30pm, Monday to Friday, with the potential for over time and an on call schedule.
Must have reliable transportation and a valid licence as driving of our fleet trucks will be required.
Shift Foreman – Duties
- Lead a skilled operations team and set the tone for a safe, productive shift
- Take ownership of day-to-day plant operations and performance
- Ensure production goals and quality standards are consistently met
- Work closely with maintenance to keep equipment running reliably
- Champion safety, environmental responsibility, and solid housekeeping
- Communicate clearly through shift reports and team handovers
- Handle on-calls when in turn for rotation
In addition, General Labourer duties when required.
- Perform tasks including sweeping, shoveling, jack hammering - manual labour.
- Must be willing to work in environmental conditions - dusty, hot, cold depending on time of year.
- Construction - Industrial experience
- Lifting, bending etc.
- Abiding by all safety regulations
- Confined Space
- Working at Heights, LOTO, WHMIS, Confined Space all beneficial, but will train right candidate.
- Strong ability to maintain cleanliness in various environments.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with staff and management.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $26.00-$28.00 per hour
