We are seeking a skilled Shop Technician to join our team at BROWNLEE EQUIPMENT. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, maintaining, and repairing various types of agricultural and industrial equipment. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that our customers receive the highest quality service.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and maintain agricultural and industrial equipment according to specifications.
- Perform repairs on various machinery, ensuring optimal functionality.
- Utilize schematics to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential problems before they escalate.
- Operate hand tools and welding equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist customers with inquiries related to equipment maintenance and repair services.
- Collaborate with team members to improve shop processes and efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven mechanical knowledge or experience in related fields.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
- Experience with heavy lifting and operating machinery safely.
- Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong customer service skills to enhance client interactions.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.
