Seeking experienced solo Class A CDL drivers for USA routes with runs that typically include one night out. Drivers will transport freight safely and reliably while following assigned routes, delivery schedules, and applicable regulations. This is a paid driving position; route details and employment terms will be discussed during the hiring process.
Responsibilities
- Operate a commercial vehicle safely on local and long-distance routes.
- Transport freight and complete pickups and deliveries according to dispatch instructions.
- Inspect the vehicle before and after trips, document its condition, and report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Secure and verify loads, and assist with freight handling as required.
- Maintain accurate trip, delivery, and inspection records.
- Follow traffic laws, hours-of-service requirements, and company safety procedures.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and facility staff.
- Use forklifts or other material-handling equipment when trained and authorized.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL) and a secure driving record.
- Demonstrated commercial driving experience; solo over-the-road experience is preferred.
- Ability to complete routes that may require one night away from home.
- Knowledge of freight securement, vehicle inspections, and transportation safety practices.
- Forklift experience is a plus;
certification or willingness to obtain required training is preferred.
- Experience with heavy equipment operation or automotive repair is beneficial but not required.
- Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to communicate clearly and follow dispatch instructions.
Pay: $51,500.00-$169,000.00 per year
