Finning Canada seeks a Service Supervisor to lead technicians and apprentices supporting major Caterpillar equipment fleets. This permanent position centers on shop-floor leadership, safety compliance, operational targets, and customer service delivery. The role suits an experienced technician or frontline leader advancing into leadership.

Key Responsibilities: Lead daily safety discussions and job hazard reviews

Spend at least 80% of time supporting shop-floor technicians

Assign work and optimize manpower and bay utilization

Coach technicians and apprentices through performance conversations

Oversee repairs,



inspections, troubleshooting, and service reporting

Requirements: Proven supervisory experience in heavy equipment maintenance

Minimum four years working with Caterpillar equipment and engines

Knowledge of warranty administration and contamination control

Robust communication, planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician certification considered an asset
