Job Summary

- The Take Out Associate supports a welcoming, efficient dining experience by assisting guests with takeout orders from inquiry through pickup.
- This role combines guest services, hospitality, and food service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Associates communicate clearly with guests and team members, help ensure orders are accurate, and provide attentive service.

Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and provide prompt, courteous customer service.

- Answer questions about menu items, takeout options, and order status.
- Take orders in person and by phone, using professional phone etiquette and clear communication skills.
- Enter orders accurately into the POS system

- Coordinate with kitchen and serving staff to confirm order details, timing, and special requests.
- Check orders for accuracy and completeness before handing them to guests.
- Package food and necessary accompaniments neatly and safely.

- Keep the takeout area clean,



organized, and ready for service.
- Follow restaurant procedures for food handling, cleanliness, and guest care.

Experience

- Previous customer service, guest services, serving, or food service experience is preferred.

- Restaurant experience is an asset; hotel experience or other hospitality experience is also welcome.
- Familiarity with POS systems is preferred, and Micros POS experience is a plus.
- Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail are important.

- A friendly, dependable approach and the ability to work collaboratively in a busy service environment are essential.

Pay: $17.00-$17.50 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 – 38.0 per week
