TAC Sports is looking for enthusiastic, creative, and reliable coaches and instructors to join our growing team for Thursday Afterschool Enrichment Programs.

We are seeking individuals who are passionate about working with children and delivering engaging, hands-on learning experiences in a fun, safe, and supportive environment.

Available Thursday Positions

1. Cooking Instructor

- Lead interactive, age-appropriate cooking classes for children.
- Teach basic cooking techniques, food preparation, kitchen safety, and healthy eating habits.
- Create fun, hands-on culinary experiences.

2. LEGO Architecture & Design Instructor

- Lead creative LEGO building and architecture activities.
- Introduce students to basic engineering, structural design, and problem-solving concepts.
- Encourage creativity, teamwork, and hands-on learning.

3. 3D Design & Technology Instructor

- Introduce students to 3D modelling, design, and creative technology.
- Guide students through interactive design projects.
- Encourage innovation, critical thinking, and STEM-based learning.

4. Public Speaking & Communication Instructor

- Teach students confidence-building and effective communication skills.
- Lead interactive activities involving presentations, storytelling, and group discussions.
- Help students develop leadership, teamwork, and public speaking abilities.

5. Chess Instructor

- Teach chess fundamentals, rules, strategies, and tactics to students of different skill levels.
- Lead engaging chess lessons, practice games, and friendly tournaments.
- Develop students' critical thinking, problem-solving, concentration,



and decision-making skills.
- Encourage sportsmanship, patience, and strategic thinking through interactive activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver engaging and structured afterschool enrichment programs.
- Prepare age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
- Manage classroom behaviour and encourage student participation.
- Communicate professionally with school staff, parents, and TAC Sports management.
- Arrive 20 minutes before program start to prepare materials and activities.

Qualifications

- Experience working with children in educational, recreational, or enrichment settings.
- Knowledge or experience in one or more of the listed program areas.
- Strong communication, leadership, and classroom management skills.
- Reliable transportation and availability on Thursdays.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Vulnerable Sector Check and relevant certifications, as required.

Position Details

Location: Toronto & Greater Toronto Area Schedule: Thursdays – Afterschool Hours
