This permanent, part-time role is based onsite.The Responsible Gambling Council seeks an Education and Prevention Coordinator for its PlaySmart Centre Program. Use community outreach or social services experience to build awareness, answer questions, and connect people with available support. The work includes education, relationship building, data management, and positive play initiatives.Key Responsibilities:




Increase awareness of the PlaySmart Centre ProgramEngage players and affected individuals in person or by phoneAnswer gambling questions and direct people to available servicesDeliver education supporting informed choices and positive play habitsBuild relationships with casino and charitable gaming staffRequirements:
Social work, social services, adult education, health promotion, or related experienceStrong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skillsEmpathy and understanding in sensitive situationsFlexibility for weekday, evening, weekend, and holiday shiftsValid G Class Driver’s License and frequent local travel abilityBring empathy, outreach, education, and relationship-building skills to gambling prevention services at Excellent Blue Heron Casino.
