This full time hybrid contract is based in Dartmouth.As Communications Coordinator, you will support the brand and integrated marketing team. You will create audience-focused materials, coordinate regional plans, and maintain media relationships. The position supports communications that build brand awareness across Atlantic Canada.Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate regional communications and marketing plansCreate social content, wish stories, speeches, and press releasesIdentify media opportunities and distribute media pitchesCoordinate interviews and support event media engagementMaintain photo, video, and story archivesRequirements:
Post-secondary communications, marketing, or public relations educationOne to three years of related experienceExperience building journalist and stakeholder relationshipsExperience developing communications plans, strategies, and tacticsWorking knowledge of social platforms and communications softwareBring media relations, social media, and communications planning skills to Make-A-Wish Canada’s Dartmouth-based hybrid team.
