Responsibilities

- Perform customized massage therapy sessions tailored to each client’s specific needs and health conditions
- Assess clients’ physical conditions and discuss their wellness goals to develop effective treatment plans
- Maintain detailed records of client treatments, progress, and any relevant health information
- Educate clients on self-care techniques and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments or referrals if necessary
- Ensure all equipment and treatment areas are sanitized and maintained according to health standards
- Communicate clearly with clients about procedures, expectations, and post-treatment care instructions
- Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and continuing education requirements

- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to anatomy, physiology, and massage therapy practices
- Excellent customer service skills to create a positive experience for every client
- Effective communication skills to clearly explain treatment options and listen attentively to client concerns

If you are a Registered Massage Therapist in good standing with your association, we are looking for you to join our team! Just off the highway in Sherwood Park, we are seeking another therapist to cover some gaps in our current availability.

This is a contractor position, starting between a 50-55% split, or 60% for more experienced applicants. Please understand that currently this is the maximum split that will be offered. Preference will be given to therapists who have their own clients, or are active marketing for new clients.

Pay: From $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 40.0 per week
