We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Lead to support daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will lead the team while also being hands-on with warehouse activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support daily warehouse operations.
- Coordinate receiving, sorting, scanning, staging and shipping.
- Assign tasks and monitor team productivity.
- Support loading and unloading of trailers and freight.
- Operate or assist with forklift and material handling equipment.
- Monitor workflow and help resolve delays or issues.
- Ensure orders are processed accurately and safely.
- Train and support new employees.
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area.
- Communicate operational or staffing issues to supervisors.
- Complete required paperwork and shift handovers.
Requirements
- Previous warehouse or distribution experience.
- Previous Lead Hand,
Team Lead or Warehouse Lead experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Forklift experience is required with valid license
- Experience with scanners, barcode systems or WMS is an asset.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Ability to lift and move up to 40 lbs.
- Flexibility to work days, afternoons, nights, weekends and holidays.
Job Type: Full time
Shifts: Must be flexible to work morning, afternoon, and night shifts.
