- $58.98 Essential Qualifications ~ Current Certificate of Competence as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario. ~ BScN preferred. ~ Current BCLS. ~3-5 years experience (within the last 2 years) in Perinatal care (OB triage, labour & delivery skills, intrapartum, post partum), Paediatric & Level II Nursery ~ Certification and experience within last 2 years in Fetal Health Surveillance and Neonatal Resuscitation. ~ Completion of Breastfeeding Education Course ~ IV certification. ~ Certification in added nursing skills required for caring for Perinatal/Paediatrics patients. ~ Demonstrated problem solving skills. ~ Certification in Paediatric advanced life support (PALS) preferred. ~ Perinatal Education course preferred. ~ Canadian Nurses Association Perinatal Nursing Certification preferred. ~ Satisfactory Attendance ~ Member of RNAO perferred
