Role Description Movers at Ec Movers Ltd are responsible for safely loading, transporting, and unloading household and commercial items at customer locations. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Windsor, ON, requiring reliable attendance and the ability to work varying schedules, including some weekends and holidays.



The position involves working both indoors and outdoors in different weather conditions and collaborating closely with team members to complete moves efficiently and safely.

Qualifications

- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, carrying, and moving heavy items safely throughout the workday.
- Basic knowledge of safe loading, unloading, and securing cargo, with attention to preventing damage to customer belongings.
- Robust teamwork and communication skills, including the ability to follow instructions and interact professionally with customers.
- Reliability and punctuality, with a consistent work ethic and willingness to work flexible hours as required by scheduled moves.
- Comfort working in varied environments (indoors/outdoors, different weather conditions) and following safety procedures at all times.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record are an asset; experience driving or assisting with commercial vehicles is beneficial.
- Previous experience in moving, warehousing, general labor, or a similar role is preferred but not required; on-the-job training may be provided.
