Lac Ste. Anne Foundation Internal/External Posting Is seeking an individual to fill a permanent casual position located in our facility at the Pleasant View Lodge in Mayerthorpe. Cook – Permanent Casual Position Description: Directly reporting to the Site Manager, the Cook is accountable for: Meal Preparation for approximately 50 residents, Serving Meals and Cleanliness of Food Services Area. This position entails a high level of interaction with seniors and requires physical endurance (e.g. maneuvering heavy pots, flour bags). Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience
• Demonstrates an understanding of the Canada’s Food Guide to Healthy Eating
• Knowledge of food ratio guidelines based on dietary requirements for seniors
• Demonstrates an understanding of dietary requirements for seniors
• High School Diploma
• Food Handlers Course
• WHMIS
• Level 4 Criminal Record Check Work Conditions And Physical Capabilities The Pleasant View Lodge is a rapid-paced setting with many repetitive tasks.



The position can be physically demanding and attention to detail is important. This position requires a combination of standing & walking throughout the shifts.
