We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Financial Accountant to join our team and play a key role in supporting the finance operations of a growing global engineering consultancy.

This position reports directly to the Manager, Finance & Tax and has an indirect functional reporting relationship to Corporate Finance. This role works closely with internal teams, business leaders, and external service providers. The role provides broad exposure across accounting, financial reporting, compliance, forecasting, and business analysis, with opportunities to further develop international accounting and cross-border experience.

The position supports operations across Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Sweden, and the Dominican Republic, with opportunities to work with additional jurisdictions as the business continues to grow.



The successful candidate will take ownership of assigned accounting and reporting processes, proactively investigate and resolve issues, and support accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance across multiple entities and jurisdictions. Candidates with a robust technical and analytical foundation, curiosity, attention to detail, and a demonstrated ability to learn and adapt quickly are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare monthly journal entries, including accruals, fixed asset depreciation, prepaid amortization, amortization of leasehold inducements, reclassifications, intercompany billings, business unit allocations, and other adjustments.
