POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Manager of Finance, the Supervisor of Budget and Financial Services is responsible for the supervision and administration of the Board’s accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, banking,



financial reporting, and general ledger integrity. The incumbent supports the preparation of the Board’s annual budget, Ministry Estimates, Revised Estimates, and year-end financial reports, while ensuring compliance with Ministry of Education, legislative, and Board reporting requirements. This position provides leadership to accounting staff, oversees month-end and year-end financial processes, supports continuous improvement of financial procedures and systems, and contributes to the effective stewardship of the Board’s financial resources.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Supervise and support staff responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and related financial processes, ensuring compliance with established procedures and reporting deadlines;
