Reporting to the Nursery Supervisor, you will manage daily operations in Pre-Veg rooms and oversee watering schedules and safety inspections. The role demands teamwork, effective communication, and responsiveness to plant health status. Engage in hands-on tasks from preparing irrigation systems to training new team members and maintaining cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform daily safety inspections in Pre-Veg areas
• Prepare and manage watering recipes for each plant
• Conduct moisture readings and verify irrigation effectiveness
• Assist in potting and labeling tasks for plants
• Report plant deficiencies and IPM threats promptly
Requirements:
• Strong ability to follow directions and communicate
• Physically fit, comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs
• Adaptable to fast-paced and changing work conditions
• Flexibility for shift work as needed
• Fall arrest training is a plus
