Sunwapta Falls Rocky Mountain Lodge, Jasper, AB. Full time. Positions start May 6, 2026 and are available through October 2026. International applicants have no LMIA spots available at this time.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the cashier station before service with a tidy workspace and all needed tools.
- Welcome customers warmly, guide them through the order process, and accurately take their food and drink orders.
- Set drinks ready for customers as needed.
- Handle payments efficiently and provide receipts promptly.
- Coordinate with the kitchen, food runner, and bartender for smooth order preparation.
- Assist customers with requests such as utensils and water.
- Keep the cashier station clean and organized, regularly wiping down equipment.
- Balance the cash register and report any issues to the manager.
- Collaborate with the team to create a positive and united work atmosphere.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a cashier or order processing role is beneficial.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Serving and basic bartending is an asset.
- Ability to handle cash transactions and use POS systems.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in order processing.
- Team player with a positive and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Compensation & Benefits
Wage: $15 per hour plus tips. Accommodation is available for employees over the age of 18 at $4.41 per day. If the contract is completed, the rent will be returned. Referral bonus: $500 if both the employee and the referred person complete their contract.
Role flexibility: Sometimes the Food Runner/Server, Bartender, and Cashier roles are combined to maintain flexibility and teamwork.
