This job is posted as part of our seasonal hiring for Spring/Summer, 2026, it will be a full time seasonal role.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIESPerform established cleaning duties on a daily basis for all guest and team member areas including staff accommodation common areasKeep emergency exits and hallways clear of debrisEnsure cleaning checklists and maintenance logs are maintained and up to dateMaintain garbage collection areas and help facilitate an effective recycling programPerform minor painting and plumbing dutiesEnsure supply stock is adequate and well organizedCardboard bailing and organization of building recyclingAssist other departments with retrieving supplies, daily set up, and closing dutiesAssist with preventative maintenance according to standard operating proceduresAssist with evacuation procedures in the event of an emergencyNotify Facilities Supervisor on duty of any safety hazards or concernsAnswer guest questions regarding the Glacier Adventure and Glacier SkywalkOther duties as assignedREQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONSOrganization and time management skills are a must,



but a passion for making a difference for each guest and employee is the most important aspect of this positionMust get excited at the idea of living and working in a remote (yet very social) environmentMature, energetic, dependable and self-motivated
- Ability to lift loads of up to 50 pounds as necessaryAbility to complete assignments with minimal supervisionInternally motivated with a consistently high level of energyAbility to take initiative and follow through on tasks needing attentionHigh attention to detailStrong organizational skills, while possessing flexibility towards different tasksConfidence to safely use common hand tools such as hammers, drills, wrenches and screwdriversExperience in a custodial or light maintenance role an assetTourism or hospitality industry experience an assetEnjoy working with a team in a busy, fast-paced environmentComfortable working on your feet for extended periods of time in both an indoor and outdoor environment.
